From STAFF REPORTS
Pasadena and Arcadia had a pair of pretty similar outings and within 21 days of each other.
The Apaches fought valiantly and stayed close until about half time.
But the Bulldogs skill, size, speed, and depth is far too much.
Pasadena outscored Arcadia by 28 points in the second half and left the Apaches’ gym with a 90-58 victory on Friday night.
The victory keeps Pasadena (8-1 in league) even with Muir (8-1), which earned a 97-70 victory at Burroughs.
The Bulldogs shooting has been ridiculous.
They made 42 of 69 shots, which comes out to 62-percent from the field.
Bryce Hamilton led the way with 26 points, and 6 rebounds.
The senior star had 3 steals and made 13 of his 15 shot attempts from 2-point range.
He showed he was human by missing all five of his 3-point shots on Friday.
Darius Brown II joined his tag-team partner (Hamilton) as the best 1-2 punch in the area.
DBII added 20 points on 9-of-10 shooting, dished out 13 assists, had 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
Darius Mason had 10 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals, while Tavian Percy finished with 12 points and 2 steals.

PHS has three Pacific League games this coming week with Burbank, Hoover and Glendale, as the regular season winds down Feb. 8 when the Bulldogs travel to Muir with the Pacific League title on the line.
